Bus priority and/or superpriority circuit for public transportation

On demand IMO traffic light units can be equipped with a bus priority system.
Therefore different possibilities are available. The most popular procedures are:

Log-on with radio hand transmitter

All entitled persons may press the key to require green at the respective traffic light unit
(transmitter has a range of approx. 500m). The signal will be confirmed optically (via LED) and acoustically (beep).

Receiver PICI HS 712 RX

 

The control unit will be equipped with the receiver and the range will be approx. 500 m depending on the environment.

Registration using an inductive loop

 

An inductive loop in the road surface will be positioned approx. 500m before the traffic light unit. If a bus crosses this loop, electronics examines whether the vehicle is authorized to release the priority. If so, the priority is given automatically.
