During the peak hours many vehicles want to cross the lake Zurich by using the car ferry. The staff was often insulted by impatient drivers.

A traffic light unit was installed, which could be controlled by the staff members (using the hand transmitter). The behavior of the drivers has changed to a posive- the traffic light unit seems to be better accepted than staff!

Illuminated lane indicators guides drivers additionally to the appropriate lane with green.


This is the hand transmitter, which may control all traffic light units.


The alternative is to use the hand control box. This also allows to overwrite the timer (during festivals).
