Fixed traffic light unit, Flamatt (2004)

During the peak time a very high traffic volume on the main street made it for others, like the traffic flow from the shopping center, almost impossible to enter the road. Difficult was also crossing the road for pedestrians and additionally vehicles were usually rushing on this straight road.

There was no space for a roundabout and the cost were to high. The alternative was: to install a fixed traffic light unit. Today this installation controls the junction and the pedestrian crossing.
