Here some examples:
After the devastating storm in August 2005 a landslide destroyed
the access road to Melchtal. Within shortest time a 4 km long emergancy road was equipped with an IMO radio controlled traffic light unit in order to ensure the
access to Melchtal again.

During the development period of the airport, construction vehicles had to corss the runways.
To ensure the highest possible measure of security IMO's special traffic light units were
installed at each runway crossing. The control system was defined according to
the needs and requirements of the airport including the outside
circumstances (dust, dirt)dirt) as well as service staff.

there were problems with impatient drivers, who did not
respect the instructions of the personnel, especially in the rush hours.
At the loading station in Horgen a traffic light unit was installed,
which could be controlled by a radio hand transmitter. The acceptance of

and material are carried with electro vehicles. In order to guarantee more security several traffic light units of IMO were installed. |
